Senior Health Adviser - AusAID

The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) advises the Government of Pakistan on international development policy and manages Australia’s overseas aid program. AusAID is looking for a senior Health Adviser to provide leadership in the design and implementation of Australia’s growing health program in Pakistan.
Based in the Australian High Commission, Islamabad, the Adviser will provide high quality policy and technical advice to the AusAID health team, with a strong focus on addressing the priority needs of women and children. The Adviser will lead donor coordination efforts and coordinate closely with government, bilateral and multilateral partners. The successful applicant will have specialist knowledge and lengthy experience in health and development with relevant qualifications and experience.
An internationally competitive remuneration package, commencing from AUD $120,000 p.a. and including attractive conditions of employment, will be negotiated commensurate with the demonstrated experience, expertise and skills of the successful applicant.
